CERTIFICATE COURSE IN HOTEL PURCHASING AND STORAGE

Objectives :-
To provide an understanding of Purchasing Storage and Inventory Control Procedures and Techniques for personnel engaged in the hospitality trade.

As Purchasing, Receiving, Storage and Inventory Control is the nerve center of the organization all those who are directly and indirectly involved in these functions and also those who wish to develop their careers in this field.

Course Contents :-
Financial, Economics and Social Conditions in Purchasing and Storage, Contribution of Hotels to the Local Economy, Quality checks at receiving, Storage and Characteristics of perishables and non-perishables (food beverage, general, engineering and operating equipment), Cycle of Operation in hotel, Local and International Purchasing , Inventory Control and Stock Verifications , Survey and Disposal, Quality Assurance, Approach to ISO 9000, Computer Application.

Course Fees :- Rs. 11,000/= (Includes VAT 12% and NBT 3%)

Examination and Award of Certificate:-
Participants who have attended 80% of lectures will be allowed to sit for the examination and certificate of Purchasing Management will be awarded to those who have successfully competed the examination.
