CERTIFICATE COURSE IN SHIPPING, AIR CARGO & CONTAINERIZATION

Objectives :-
To improve the knowledge of persons who are involved or interested in Shipping, Air Cargo & Containerization Procedures and Import and Export Trade.

For whom:-
Shipping Managers, Imports / Exports Managers and their Immediate Assistants and other Executives who are interested in acquiring knowledge in Shipping Air Cargo & Containerization Procedures.

Course Contents :-
Import - Export Control Regulations, Banking, Marine Insurance, Packing and Shipping, Customs Procedures, Sri Lanka Ports Authority Procedures, Legal Aspects, Financial Implications and Controls

Entry Requirement:-
articipants should posses a good knowledge in Course Medium Sinhala or English, and who are in the middle management or lower management with the following qualification or school leavers who have passed the G.C.E. (O/L) with a Credit Pass in Sinhala or English and Mathematics can apply

Medium :- English

Duration :- 12 Saturday s (6 Hours a day)

Course Fees :- Rs.14,000/= (Includes VAT 12% and NBT 3%)

Examination and Award of Certificate:-
Participants who have attended 80 % of lectures will be allowed to sit for the examination and certificate of Purchasing Principles and Practices will be awarded to those who successfully completed the examination.
