I. G. Perera re-elected President ISMM

The Institute of Supply and Materials Management which held its AGM recently re-elected its incumbent President I. G. Perera unanimously for a second term.He took his oaths before the Immediate Past President Nalin Silva at the AGM.

Having commenced his working career as an Inventory Controller and moving on to, Warehouse Management, Procurement Management, Human Resource Management, Quality Management, Production Management and Lean Management, IG gained a wealth of experience and exposure working for reputed multinational companies which are leading manufacturing exporters in Sri Lanka and overseas that utilized state of the art technologies and systems.

 

IG had his executive education from INSEAD University France, Henley Management College, UK, Indian Institute of Management, and University of Western Sydney, Australia. IG is also a Fellow of the Institute of Supply and Materials Management (ISMM) and an Accredited Trainer of the International Trade Centre (Geneva) affiliated to the UN.

Presently, he is in the visiting Faculties of Green University (NSBM), Homagama, University of Colombo, NIBM, ISMM, MILODA, Coventry University, Birmingham City University, University of Plymouth, UK and RMIT (Australia).
