Inauguration of the Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Supply Chain Management
The Institute of Supply and Materials Management (ISMM) proudly inaugurated the Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Supply Chain Management on 9th June 2026 at Waters Edge, marking a significant milestone in advancing strategic supply chain education and leadership development in Sri Lanka.
The ceremony featured an insightful Guest Speaker Session by Mr. Devanshu Bhatia, Head of Techno Commercial, Colombo West International Terminal (CWIT), who shared valuable perspectives on the evolving global trade environment, port-centric logistics, supply chain transformation, and the leadership competencies required to navigate increasingly complex and dynamic supply chain networks. His presentation inspired participants to embrace innovation, strategic thinking, and continuous learning in their professional journeys.
The event was further honoured by the presence of Mr. Lilantha Subasinghe, President of ISMM; Dr. (Eng.) Sanath Divakara, Vice President and Chairman – PD & TC; Mr. Dimuka Hemantha, Vice President; Mr. Ranil Abeysekera, Vice President; along with other key office bearers, council members, faculty members, and ISMM staff, reflecting the Institute’s strong commitment to academic excellence and professional development.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Strategic Supply Chain Management is specifically designed for experienced professionals who aspire to advance into senior and executive leadership positions within the supply chain domain, including Director, Vice President (VP), Chief Supply Chain Officer (CSCO), Chief Operations Officer (COO), and General Manager roles.
