𝗜𝗦𝗠𝗠 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗺𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝟮𝟰𝟲 𝗙𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘀 The Institute of Supply and Materials Management (ISMM), Sri Lanka’s pioneer and nationally recognized professional body for Supply Chain and Logistics education, proudly hosted its Advanced Diploma Graduation Ceremony 2026 on 22nd February 2026, celebrating another significant milestone in the professional journeys of its Learning Partners.
The ceremony celebrated the successful completion of the Advanced Diploma in Purchasing and Logistics Management (English) – Batch 2/2024, Advanced Diploma in Logistics and Warehouse Management (English & Sinhala) – Batches 2/2024 and 1/2024, and the Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Logistics Management (English) – Batch 1/2025. A total of 246 graduates were honoured for successfully completing their rigorous one-year academic programmes, designed to equip them with the knowledge, practical skills, and professional competencies required to meet the evolving demands of the Supply Chain and Logistics industry.
The event was graced by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗵𝗲𝘄𝗮, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗿𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮 (𝗢𝗣𝗔) 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗜𝗦𝗠𝗠, 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 – 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗷𝗮 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝘂𝗯, 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗿𝗶 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗕𝗢𝗖), 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁. In his inspiring keynote address, Mr. Gallehewa emphasized the importance of continuous learning, professional excellence, adaptability, and strong leadership in navigating the rapidly changing global Supply Chain landscape. He encouraged the graduates to look beyond academic qualifications and continuously develop the knowledge, skills, values, and professional mindset required to create meaningful impact within their organizations and the wider economy.
The ceremony was further enriched by the presence of esteemed guests, including Mr. Lilantha Subasinghe, President of ISMM; Mr. Sarath Gamage, Past President of ISMM and OPA; Dr. (Eng.) Sanath Divakara, Vice President of ISMM and Chairman – Professional Development & Training Committee; and Mr. Dimuka Hemantha, Vice President of ISMM, along with other office bearers, council members, faculty members, course directors, and the dedicated staff of ISMM. Their presence reflected the Institute’s strong commitment to supporting the academic and professional development of its Learning Partners. The achievements of the graduates stand as a true testament to their dedication, discipline, perseverance, and commitment to professional growth.
Their success was further strengthened by the guidance of ISMM’s faculty members and course directors, the support of their families, and the continuous encouragement provided throughout their academic journey. This milestone graduation ceremony was not only a celebration of academic achievement but also the beginning of a new chapter for 246 emerging professionals who are now better equipped to contribute to the future of Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, and Supply Chain Management. With a proud legacy spanning more than five decades, ISMM continues to play a vital role in developing competent, industry-ready, and future-focused professionals to strengthen Sri Lanka’s Supply Chain ecosystem.
